1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Solvi ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Solvi is a mobile AI assistant application that provides an extensible agent runtime on your smartphone. The App enables you to interact with AI language models using your own API keys and access device capabilities through a permission-gated tool system.

3. API Keys and Third-Party Services

Solvi operates on a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. You are responsible for:

• Obtaining and maintaining valid API keys from third-party AI providers
• Complying with the terms of service of those providers
• Any costs incurred through API usage with your keys
• The security of your API keys (though we store them securely in your device's Keychain)

Solvi is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, or other AI providers. Your use of their services through Solvi is governed by their respective terms.

4. Subscription Tiers

Solvi offers the following service tiers:

• Free: Full local functionality with BYOK. No account required.
• Solvi Pro: Optional subscription including cloud sync, premium tools, and priority support.
• Solvi Team: Optional subscription for teams with shared tool libraries and managed configurations.

Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play. Cancellation and refund policies are governed by the respective platform's terms.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws
• Not use the App to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the App beyond its open-source license terms
• Not use the App to circumvent safety measures of AI providers
• Take responsibility for any actions performed by the AI agent on your behalf

6. Tool System and Permissions

The App may request access to device capabilities including camera, contacts, calendar, location, and reminders. Each tool action requires explicit user permission. You can revoke permissions at any time. The App logs all tool actions in an audit trail accessible to you.

7. Content and Output

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate. Solvi provides content filtering capabilities, but you acknowledge that:

• AI outputs should not be relied upon for medical, legal, or financial advice
• You are responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated content before acting on it
• Content filtering may not catch all potentially harmful content

8. Intellectual Property

Solvi is open-source software. The source code is available under its respective license terms. Your content, data, and configurations remain your property.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solvi and its developers shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data (the App stores data locally; backups are your responsibility)
• API costs incurred through your use of third-party services
• Actions taken by the AI agent, even if authorized by you
• Interruptions in service from third-party AI providers

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

11. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Since data is stored locally, uninstallation removes all App data from your device.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
